Robert Schraven, 88, passed away Saturday, August 22 at Syracuse Home at McHarrie Place. He was born in Buffalo to Jacob and Katherine Schraven and has lived in Baldwinsville for 50 years. Bob served in the US Army and worked for Niagara Mohawk. After retirement, he spent his winters in Myrtle Beach and loved being outdoors and taking walks. Bob was an avid Buffalo Bills fan and enjoyed horse racing.
Bob is predeceased by his wife of 52 years, Norine Schraven.
Bob is survived by his 3 sons, Bob (Debbie), Tom (Sam), and Dave (Mary Ellen); 3 daughters, Sally (Mike) Sharpe, Kathy (Dennis) Merryweather, and Karen (Steve) Talty; 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Services are private. Burial is in Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Kenmore, NY.
