Robert F. Nostrant, 82, of Baldwinsville died Friday, June 6, 2003 at Auburn Memorial Hospital. He was born in Baldwinsville and graduated from Baldwinsville Academy in 1938 and from Clarkson College in 1943. Mr. Nostrant retired as Senior Research Engineer for the Champion Spark Plug Co. in Toledo, Ohio. He was an avid researcher of local history and geneology and was a member of the Beauchamp Historical Society, Friends of the Library, Shacksboro Museum and the NY State Geneology Society. He had once served as the Town of Lysander Historian and the Village of Baldwinsville Historian.

Survivors: Wife, Bok He; four sons, George, William and Bruce of Ohio and Scott of California; one brother, Richard Nostrant of Baldwinsville; and several nieces and nephews.

Services: 11:00 am Tuesday, June 10, 2003 at Falardeau Funeral Home Baldwinsville. Burial, Riverview Cemetery, Baldwinsville. Calling hours are 4-7pm Monday, June 9, 2003 at the funeral home, 93 Downer Street.
