Robert F. Mayers, 58, of Baldwinsville, passed away Tuesday, October 7, 2008 at Crouse Hospital. He was born in Sellarsville, PA and raised in Lansdale, PA. He moved to Baldwinsville in 1964 and served in the US Navy during Vietnam. He was a truck driver for 31 years at Macsteel in Liverpool and most recently at Parksite in Eastwood. Robert was an avid fisherman and boater.

Survivors: his wife of 38 years, Linda L.; two sons, Timothy R. of Baldwinsville and Kenneth E. of Boston, MA; a grandson, Robert R. Mayers of Marcellus; three brothers, David and Richard of Clay and Shawn of Gorham, NH; his mother-in-law, Bernice Scherfling; and several nieces and nephews.

Services: 10:00am Saturday, October 11, 2008 at St. Mark's Lutheran Church Baldwinsville. Burial, Greenlawn Memorial Park, Warners. Calling hours are 4-7pm Friday, October 10, 2008 at the Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville.
