Obituary

Robert L. Littau, age 93, passed away peacefully at the Sunnyside Care Center on May 26, 2014. He retired in 1979 from the Syracuse City Urban Renewal Property Development Agency after 17 years. He was a World War II Veteran, a member of the American Legion Post 0188 and a member of the United Church of Christ in Bayberry. During the years he both coached and umpired boys little league baseball and was a licensed ham radio enthusiast. He will be remembered for his love of flowers, gardening and woodworking projects; especially designing and crafting whirley-gigs.

He is survived by his son, Richard (Doris) Littau of Amarillo, Texas; his daughter, Patricia (David) Minnoe of Syracuse/Baldwinsville, NY; daughter-in-law, Judith (James) Littau of Baldwinsville, NY; 10 grandchildren; several, great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours are 10:00am – 12:00pm Friday, May 30, 2014, at the Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville with services to follow at 12:00pm. Burial in Riverview Cemetery.

Contributions: In lieu of flowers, to the Baldwinsvile Ambulance Corps or the Lakeside Volunteer Fire Dept.
