Robert J. Goldsworthy, 88, of Cape Vincent passed away Thursday, June 23, 2011, at St. Josephs Hospital. He was born in Phoenix, lived in Baldwinsville most of his life and retired to Cape Vincent. Robert retired from Prestolite after many years of service. He was a US Navy veteran of WW II. He was a life member of the VFW Post 153 in Baldwinsville and also Moose Lodge #644. Robert was an avid bowler and golfer.

He was predeased by his wife Anna L. Goldsworthy in 2007.

Survivors: his daughter, Joanne (William) Humphrey of Goodview, VA; his sons, Robert N.(Betty) Goldsworthy of Hastings and Thomas E. (Arlene) Goldsworthy of Baldwinsville; 6 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Services: 10:00am Friday, July 1, 2011, at Falardeau Funeral Home, Baldwinsville. Burial in Riverview Cemetery. Calling hours are 4-7pm Thursday, June 30, 2011, at the funeral home, 93 Downer St.
