Robert B. Almendinger, Sr., 78, of Baldwinsville passed away Thursday, March 1 surrounded by his family. He was born in Lakeview and lived in Baldwinsville for the past 33 years. Bob was a retired employee of the Anheuser Busch brewery in Baldwinsville. He was a creative person, who enjoyed painting with oils and his model train collection of which he was quite proud. A gentle person, he loved his family and his animals. Bob was predeceased by a brother, John.



Surviving are his wife, Mary Faith (Majchrzak) Almendinger; his children, Mary Jane (James) Heinz , Robert B. (Sherri) Almendinger, Jr. MaryAlice (Bill) Feinstein, Amanda (Don) Thompson, Holly Lynn Almendinger, and Andrew Joseph Almendinger; his step-children, Chadrick Michael (Michelle) Benedict and Dorothy Irene (Spencer) Wolfe; 11 grandchildren; a great-grandchild; his sister, Marjorie Crocoll; brother Dick (Gerri) Almendinger; several nieces and nephews.



Calling hours will be Monday, March 5th from 3:00pm – 5:30pm at the Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville, with a service to follow at 5:30pm.
