Richard N. Johnston, 76, of Fulton died Sunday August 24, 2008 at A. L. Lee Memorial Hospital. He had worked most of his life as a mechanic thoughout the Syracuse and Baldwinsville area. Mr. Johnston was an avid fisherman. He also enjoyed building remote control boats and airplanes. Richard served four years in the US Air Force. He was a member of the VFW, American Legion, Boat Club of Syracuse, and Syra-Canadian Fish and Game Club in Mexico, NY.

Survivors: his wife of 32 years, June Vescio Johnston; a son, Mark (Karen); two granddaughters, Kati and Krista; 3 brothers, Robert (Shirley) of Baldwinsville, Alan (Joy) of Remsen, NY and Jerry (Joyce) of Baldwinsville; a sister, Nancy (Jimmy) Boyd of Fulton; several nieces and nephews.

Services: 11:00am Friday, August 29, 2008 at Falardeau Funeral Home, Baldwinsville. Burial in Riverview Cemetery. Calling hours are 3-7pm Thursday, August 28, 2008 at the funeral home, 93 Downer Street.
