Richard D. Johnson, Sr., 77, of Pulaski, went home to be with the Lord Sunday, September 19, 2010 at Sunrise Nursing Home, Oswego, surrounded by his loving family. He was a native of Baldwinsville and served in the US Army from 1956-58. Richard was very involved with the Boy Scouts of America. He was an Eagle Scout and also a Scout Leader for 30 years. He retired from Caryl Electric in Baldwinsville after 40 years. He was pre-deceased by his daughter, Deborah in 1955 and grandson, Anthony Tangredi, Jr. in 2008.

Survivors: his longtime companion and caregiver, Eileen D. Dreher of Pulaski; children, Richard, Jr. (Linda) of Palmer, Mass., Christine (Claude) Sykes of Baldwinsville, Jeffrey (Holli) of Baldwinsville and James (Amy) of Syracuse; their mother, Barbara D. Johnson of Baldwinsville; brother, Alfred, Jr. (Virginia) of Tallahassee, FL; 8 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Services: 11:00am Wednesday, September 22, 2010 at Falardeau Funeral Home, Baldwinsville. Burial at Riverview Cemetery, Baldwinsville. Calling hours are 4-7pm Tuesday, September 21, 2010 at the funeral home, 93 Downer St.
