Richard A. Girard, 61, of Baldwinsville died Monday, August 15, 2005 at his home. He was born in Massena and lived most of his life in Baldwinsville. He was a 1961 graduate of C. W. Baker High School in Baldwinsville and was an Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. He was employed with the Specialized Packaging Group, Inc. in Baldwinsville for 9 ½ years and was a communicant of St. Mary's Church, Baldwinsville.

Survivors: his wife of 36 years, Cheryl E.; two daughters, Renee D. Soutar of Ira and Nicole M. Schwabenbauer of Baldwinsville; one son, Richard C. of Baldwinsville; three brothers, Jean Girard of Redwood, Jack Girard and Ronald Girard both of Baldwinsville; 5 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Services: 8:30am Thursday, August 18, 2005 at Falardeau Funeral Home, Baldwinsville and 9:00am at St. Mary's Church, Baldwinsville. Burial, St. Mary's Cemetery, Baldwinsville. Calling hours are 5-9pm Wednesday, August 17, 2005 at the funeral home, 93 Downer St.
