Richard C. Gillan, 85, passed away August 21 after a courageous battle with Alzheimer's. He was born May 27, 1932 in Baldwinsville, NY to Thomas and Margaret Savage Gillan. He served in the Army and was a Golden Glove Boxer who went Professional. He was an avid fisherman, hunter and reader.

Richard is predeceased by his childhood sweetheart and wife of 44 years, Donna Greene Gillan.

Richard is survived by his son, Richard Gillan of Syracuse; step-daughter, Lisa Torello of HI; and several grandchildren.

Services are 10 am Friday, August 25 at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St, Baldwinsville. Calling hours are 4-7 pm Thursday, August 24 at the funeral home. Burial is in Jacksonville Cemetery.
