Richard Joseph Doran, 92 of Baldwinsville, passed away on January 11, 2024.

Richard was born to the late John and Anna Doran, and was a lifetime resident of Baldwinsville graduating from Baldwinsville Academy before serving his country with the US Marines, a service that was recently honored by participation in the Honor Flight. Richard was a lifelong communicant of St. Mary's Church and was a former CYO Basketball coach for many years. He found pleasure in playing golf and traveling, especially to his family's homeland of Ireland where he visited many times. Age did not define him as he was a very active member of Aspen Athletic until their closure and more recently Planet Fitness. Richard was a kind man, generous, loving man, loved by all who knew him.

Richard is survived by his sister, Ruth Doran; cousin, Paul Reeves; and god-daughter, Donna Banks.

Calling hours will be held from 10 AM till Noon, Monday, January 15, 2024 at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer Street., Baldwinsville. A Funeral Mass will follow at St. Mary's Church beginning at 12:30PM
