Richard W. Dittman, 80, of Baldwinsville passed away Wednesday, January 29, 2014, at Crouse Hospital. He was born in Canajoharie and has lived in Baldwinsville the past 35 years. Richard was a 1950 graduate of Canajoharie High School and received his bachelors degree from Hartwick College in 1959. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War. He was a retired accountant from Allied Chemical Company and later was employed with NEC. Richard was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Liverpool and he was a volunteer at the Canton Woods Senior Center in Baldwinsville.

Survivors: his wife of 54 years, Sandra S. Dittman; his daughter, Katherine Dittman (Don Cahill); a brother, Dennis (Kathy) Dopp and several nieces and nephews.

Services: 2:00 pm Sunday, February 2nd, 2014, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Liverpool. A reception will follow in the church gathering space. Burial at a later date in Riverview Cemetery.
