Richard Bruntrager, 74, of Baldwinsville died Thursday, November 24, 2005 at his home. He was born in Philadelphia on 4/28/31, son of the late George & Katherine (Trende) Bruntrager. He was predeceased by brothers Joseph, George and sisters Kathryn and Claire. Richard was a veteran of the Korean War, serving as a Sr. Radio Operator, receiving a good conduct medal. He was of the Catholic faith. Richard was the long time owner of Rich-Lar Ind., Inc., which he founded in 1972. The successful business was sold in 1997 and although he retired in 2000, he remained involved in an advisory capacity.

Survivors: his wife of 43 years, Annette E. (Ackles) Bruntrager; a brother, Robert of N. Wales, PA; sister-in-law and husband, Arlene & Jim Metzler; sister-in-law, Olinda Boggie; brother-in-law and wife, John & Linda Ackles; several nieces and nephews in the Philadelphia and Syracuse areas.

Services and burial are private. Falardeau Funeral Home, Baldwinsville has charge of arrangements.
