June 27, 1984 – February 18, 2025
Reginald "Reggie" Rawls Jr., 40, of Baldwinsville, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday. Born in Syracuse, he was a 2003 graduate of C.W. Baker High School.
Reggie was a self-employed contractor and took great pride in his work.
He was an avid runner having competed in hundreds of 5K, 10K, and half marathons throughout upstate NY, being a staple in the tight knit running community. He had of love of cars, especially his Ford Lightning.
Most of all, Reggie loved and lived for his pups, Luna and Rip.
Reggie loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them. He prided himself on his brisket and using his smoker. Most of all, he had an incredible sense of humor and loved engaging in politic banter.
He is predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Marie and Reginald Rawls; and maternal grandfather, Edward Graveline.
Surviving are his father, Reginald Sr. of Baldwinsville; mother, Pamela (Edward Slowik) Goult of Syracuse; stepfather, James Goult; brothers, James W. (Nicole) Goult III of Hastings and Anthony D. (Caralie Pallone) Goult of Pennellville; his significant other, Katie Curinga of E. Syracuse; maternal grandmother, Mary Graveline of Camillus; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, February 25, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville.
A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, February 26, at 11 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, 47 Syracuse St., Baldwinsville with burial to follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Warners.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Helping Hounds.
