Reginald B. Edmonds, 80, passed away peacefully at home. He was born June 1, 1943, to the late Charles Marvin Edmonds and Erva Buder Edmonds. He was raised in Baldwinsville, graduated in 1960 and proudly went on to graduate from Syracuse University.

He was an avid outdoorsman, apiarist and car enthusiast, but his true passion was as a brilliant educator of 38 years who caringly inspired thousands of students in the field of science, overseeing multiple state winning physics teams. Reg will be remembered for his kindness and optimism, his love of Albert Einstein and his long conversations with Dr. Max Dresden concerning quantum mechanics. The only thing bigger than his beautiful smile was his love of teaching and his generous heart. The world has lost an incredible man who was loved by all, Reg brought calm to every situation and joy to all who were blessed to know him.

Reg is survived by his loving partner Sandra Dullen, having met as children and rekindled later in life they were soulmates; his devoted children Scott (Shayne), David (Erica), Kristen (Jason Rarick), 8 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren, a sister Suzanne (Bob) Carroll, a brother Charles (Marti) Edmonds, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, October 15, 2023, from 2:00-5:00 PM at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville. A service will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 10:00 AM with burial to follow in Riverview Cemetery.
