Raymond C. Charbonneau, Jr., 74, of Baldwinsville, NY, passed away on February 15, 2021 at Upstate Hospital. Born on October 26, 1946, to Raymond C. Charbonneau, Sr. and Jeannette (Levesque), he grew up near Boston, MA. A U.S. Navy veteran and former police officer, he transferred to the Syracuse area with the DoD as a contract specialist until retirement.

Ray's greatest joy was his family and spending time with them. He had a wide variety of interests and loved talking with everybody about all things Disney, Boy Scouts, New England/Boston sports teams, and cars. He also enjoyed reading non-fiction books, listening to music, and attending Syracuse Stage plays.

Ray was predeceased by his parents, sister Karen (David) Arthur, brother George (Barbara), and good friends Frank Lepkowski and Aggie Roth. He is survived by his partner of 37 years Jeri Fowler; son James (Krystyne); daughters Michelle (William), Anne-Marie (Jay), and Collette; grandchildren Cassandra (Jarred), Brandon, Christine (Drew), Alyssa (Christopher), Nicole, Natalie, and Emily; great-grandchildren Caiden, Chloe, Zoey (as well as two expected later this year); sisters Claire (Daniel) and Patricia (Joseph); brothers Laurent (Wanda), Paul (Deb), Joseph (Annemarie), Thomas (Linda), James (Gina), and Steven (Ann); Aunts Jeannette and Pauline; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Calling hours are 4 to 6 pm with funeral service to follow on Wednesday, February 24 at Christ Community United Methodist Church 3474 Stiles Road, Syracuse, NY. The funeral service, arranged by Falardeau Funeral Home, will be streamed on the church's website at christcommunityumc.com or their Facebook page.
