Randall C. Grimshaw, 64, of Baldwinsville, NY, went to meet his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, November 3, 2021. Born January 7, 1957 in Syracuse, NY, Randy grew up in Camillus, NY. He was the son of Redvers D. Grimshaw, who preceded him in death, and Nancy C. Grimshaw. In addition to his mother, Randy is survived by: his beloved wife, Debra (Cherrier); their children: Sarah Hallock (Sasha), Thomas Benedict (Hannah), Christopher Cherrier, Brian Cherrier, Marisha Grimshaw, Anthony Grimshaw (Jennifer), Alex Grimshaw, and Zachary Pena; and grandchildren: Judah, Sophia, Oliver, Jayden, Christian, Elizabeth, Abigail, and William. He is also survived by his siblings, Marcia Brauning (Dan), Barbara McHale (Sean), and Arthur Grimshaw (Marlene).

Randy was a 1975 graduate of West Genesee High School. He graduated from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh and then earned his BS in Communications from SUNY Plattsburgh. A self-taught computer whiz, Randy spent many years working in the IT industry, first for Syracuse University as Senior IT Analyst and then for SUNY ESF as Senior Programmer Analyst. He retired from SUNY ESF in January of this year.

Randy enjoyed leading people in Christian worship with song and guitar and hosting Bible studies. He was a member of New Hope Church, Baldwinsville.

Calling Hours will be held Friday, November 12th from 4-7pm at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St, Baldwinsville. A celebration of Randy's life will be held Saturday, November 13th at 10am at New Hope Church, 7587 State Fair Blvd, Baldwinsville, NY. Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Dewitt. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Randy's memory may be given to the Food Bank of Central New York (foodbankcny.org).
