Phyllis M. Sweeney Carpenter, 79, of Syracuse died Monday, July 21, 2003 at her home. She was a native and life resident of Syracuse. Mrs. Carpenter was a Meter Maid for the Syracuse Police Dept.

Survivors: son, Jeffrey Miller of Calif.; four sisters, Frances Miller and Mary Ellen Boltwood both of Liverpool, Jean Culeton and Patricia Sink both of Syracuse; several nieces and nephews.

Services: 9:00am Thursday, July 24, 2003 at St. Augustine's Church, O'Brien Road, Baldwinsville. Burial, St. Mary's Cemetery, DeWitt. Calling hours are 5-8pm Wednesday, July 23, 2003 at the Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville.
