Phyllis Mae Brown, 79, of Baldwinsville, passed away Saturday, February 3rd at Crouse Hospital.  Born in Auburn, in 1950 her family moved to Findlay, OH where she graduated from Findlay High School. She moved back to central New York and while raising a family she went to college and earned her Bachelor's degree from SUNY Oswego and her Master's in Social Work from Syracuse University.  Phyllis was employed as a geriatric social worker for several nursing homes throughout central New York.

She was predeceased by her sister and twin sister, Joyce and Clarice Brown; and brothers, Alan, David, Rodger, and Edwin Brown.

Phyllis is survived by her three sons, Todd and Greg of Baldwinsville and Douglas [wife Stephanie] McCall of Wheeling, WV; along with her beloved grandchildren, Vienna and Ellone; sisters, Marilyn Ortiz of CO, Mariellen Deacy of Liverpool, and Roberta Banner of Weedsport; brothers, Colin and Ron Cunningham; and many nieces and nephews.

Services will be at Grace Episcopal Church in Baldwinsville at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday May 18, 2024.

The family requests that no flowers be given and any contributions may be made to the Baldwinsville Public Library in her name as she was an avid reader throughout her life.
