Phyllis M. Blann, 87, of Cicero, passed away Wednesday, at home surrounded by her family. Born in Baldwinsville, she was a 1957 graduate of C.W. Baker High School.

Phyllis was an excellent artist who enjoyed painting landscape scenery using oils, pastels, and charcoal paints. She was a floral artist who enjoyed creating floral arrangement for friends and family and enjoyed landscaping and gardening. Phyllis was a member of North Syracuse Baptist Church and was very active creating the bulletin boards for the children's section and Vacation Bible School.

She was an avid stamp collector and enjoyed fishing on Sandy Pond for many years with her brother, Rev. Stephen Blann.

Phyllis was predeceased by her parents, Harold and Wilma; aunt, Mildred Blann Kammerer; and nephew, Scott Stephen Blann.

Surviving are her brother, Rev. Stephen (Sherry) Blann; nieces, Stephanie (Rob) Coles and Trisha F. Blann; several great-nieces and nephews; and several great-great nieces and nephews.

A calling hour will be held on Friday, April 10, from 10 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Warners.
