Peter Paul Scalzo, 91 of Baldwinsville, NY, died peacefully on March 15, 2022 at Syracuse Home surrounded by his loving family.

He was born December 14, 1930 in Carbondale, PA to the late Angelo and Katheryn (Dick) Scalzo. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Anthony Scalzo (Alice), sisters Rose Della Valle (Fred deceased) and Mary DiFulio and a brother-in-law Carl Camille.

Peter was a proud veteran of the US Marine Corps, serving during the Korean War.

He graduated from Syracuse University and spent his working years as a accountant. In 1974, he married Frances, his wife of 47 years. He enjoyed gardening, the news, spending time at Lake Ontario and SU sports.

He is survived by his wife, Frances, a daughter, Robin Urbaniak (John) and a son Rick Palmer (Patience). Grandchildren Matthew (Lauren), Kimberly, Joelle, Rebekah and Mary. A sister, Clara Camille and several nieces and nephews.

There will be no calling hours and services are private. Burial will be at St. Mary's Cemetery, Baldwinsville.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Food Bank of Central NY or Hospice Foundation of Central NY.
