Peter M. Jonov, 84, of Baldwinsville passed away Wednesday, December 23, 2015, at St. Joseph's Hospital Health Center. He was born and raised in Bulgaria. Peter was sponsored by Morris Machine Works in Baldwinsville to come to the United States in 1967 where he was later naturalized. He was employed by Morris Pumps, which later became Gould Pumps until they closed the plant in Baldwinsville in 1988. He later was employed with Snyder General in Auburn. Peter and his wife Jean lived in Conquest for 30 years before returning to Baldwinsville in 2001. He enjoyed gardening and trips to Turning Stone.

Survivors: his wife of 43 years Georgene "Jean" Smith Jonov; his daughters, Jill (Brian) Shaw of Rochester and Yanka Mladenova of Bulgaria; grandchildren; Daniela Georgieva of Auburn, Danielle Smith, Roxanne Henry and Bradley Shaw; great-grandson, Declan Smith.

Services: 11:00 am Tuesday, December 29, 2015, at Falardeau Funeral Home, Baldwinsville. Burial in Riverview Cemetery. Calling hours are 2-4pm Monday, December 28, 2015, at the funeral home, 93 Downer Street.
