Pauline Pucek Bavlsik, 88, of Baldwinsville, died Friday, January 24, 2003. Born in Czechoslovakia, she lived in Manhattan most of her life and in Baldwinsville five years. Her husband, John P., died in 1985.

Survivors: A daughter, Millie A. Bond of Baldwinsville; a son, John P. of Glen Cove; two sisters, Veronica Bavlsik of Greece, N.Y., and Anna Stevko of Calverton; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.

Services: Private. Burial, Oakwood Cemetery, Chittenango. No calling hours. Falardeau Funeral Home, Baldwinsville, has arrangements.
