Paul Thomas LeClair, 60, of Durham, N.C. passed away unexpectedly at home on September 2, 2018. Paul was born August 30, 1958 in Oswego, N.Y. to Leigh and Joan Lacey LeClair. He is survived by his wife Susan Squire LeClair, daughter Leah and son Eric, his father, his step-mother, Priscilla, his brothers, Tim (wife Rhea Anna) and Larry (wife Susan), his uncle and aunt Bill and Jeannette Hogan of Oswego, and several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Paul was a graduate of Charles W. Baker High School in Baldwinsville, and SUNY Oneonta and received a Master's Degree in Geology from Bowling Green University in Ohio. His career was spent in the fields of oil exploration, environmental chemistry, and technical writing; first in New Orleans and later in North Carolina.

Among Paul's great loves was his music. He listened to, played and performed an eclectic range of modern music, and was very proud of his collection of twelve acoustic guitars. He will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by all of his family and friends.

Calling hours will be held at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer Street, Baldwinsville, NY, on Friday, September 14 from 3-5 pm followed by a 5 pm service at the funeral home. Burial will be at St. Peter's Cemetery in Oswego, NY.
