Patricia A. Staring, 89, of Phoenix passed away on March 11, 2022. Born in Fulton on March 17, 1932, to the late Clement and Kathryn (Growe) Bigwarfe, Pat was predeceased by her beloved husband of 69 years, Robert Staring.

A graduate of the Phoenix High School's Class of 1949, she retired after a 35-year career at General Electric. Pat, or Grandma Pat as she was widely known, was also the longtime owner of the former Oneida River Tavern in Pennellville.

She is survived by her sisters, Donna Zahn, Marlene Nelson; brother Jack (Sharon) Bigwarfe; son, Gary (Michele) Staring; daughter, Nancy Granger; grandchildren Shelley Andrews, Daniel (Eva) Andrews, Katie (Robert) Hayes, Kimberly (Joe) Edick, Karen Staring; and great-grandchildren Nicholas, Olivia, Emilee, Madelyn, Joseph, Gracie, and Kensington.

A Private service was held March 19. To celebrate her memory, donations may be made "In Memory of Patricia Staring" to the charity of your choice.
