Patricia (Reed) McKeigue, beloved mother, wife, sister, grandmother, aunt, great aunt, cousin and friend. A lifelong resident of Syracuse, NY, Patty was surrounded by children; Kevin, Mick, Tina and husband Michael and daughter-in-law, Jennifer, when she passed away on Saturday, January 11, 2020.

Patricia was born to the late Gordon and Catherine Reed on June 2, 1947 in Ashtabula, OH. She was predeceased by her Husband of forty years, William "Bill" McKeigue and her Son of twenty-two years, William "Billy" McKeigue.

Patty was a loving wife, a wonderful mom, and a valued friend to so many. She worked in the health care industry for over forty years with most of those years at Community General Hospital. Patty was a passionate youth sports volunteer back in the day, and enjoyed attending her children's and grandchildren's games and dance recitals. She loved listening to live music and always enjoyed a night out dancing. It was never a party without Patty!


Patty is survived by her husband of ten years, Michael Cisternino, son Kevin, daughter-in-law Jennifer, son Mick, daughter Tina and husband David Garfinkel, as well as her sister, Connie Reed Birge and husband Robert Birge.

She leaves behind her seven grandchildren; Seth, Molly, Ava, Madi, Jackson, Dillon and Liam and two nephews, David and Bryan Salvetti.

The family would like to thank the wonderful doctors and nurses at Upstate Medical Center for providing outstanding care during her final days.

Family and friends are invited to attend visiting hours at the Falardeau Funeral Home, located at 93 Downer St, Baldwinsville, NY, from 4-7 pm on Thursday, January 16. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 9 am Friday, January 17 at St. Mary's Church, 47 Syracuse St., Baldwinsville.

Patty was a breast cancer survivor, in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Susan G. Komen Upstate NY, 742 Delaware Ave., Buffalo, NY 14209.
