Olive Redman Gristwood, 100, of Baldwinsville died Friday in Heritage Village Health Care Center, Gerry. Born in Hornell, she lived in Port Chester before moving to Baldwinsville. She graduated from Port Chester High School and cum laude from Syracuse University. She was a member of Phi Beta Cappa at Syracuse University. She retired as a teacher from Baker High School in Baldwinsville and previously taught in Tully and at Goodfellow School in Syracuse. Her first husband, Howard Hanger, died in 1938; her second husband, Glen Gristwood, died in 1968.

Survivors: Two nephews and a niece.
