Olga S. Dobbins, born in Ansonia, Connecticut, December 4, 1923, died peacefully among loving family on March 13, 2014. Olga was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She was a great and generous listener. Her parents were John and Tykla Skotetsky.

She was predeceased by her sister, Anne Hero, her son Michael and her great-granddaughter, Colleen Josephine Dobbins.

She is survived by her husband John of 67 years; daughter-in-law, Nancy Dobbins (n'ee Northrop), sons, Thomas (Mary Ann Trybek), Peter (Margaret Nowak), Matthew (Meg O'Connor); grandchildren, Catherine Dobbins Gramiak, Stephen, John, David, Shannon and Michael; six great-grandchildren, Eliza and Ethan Gramiak, Jack and Nora Dobbins, Maura and Clair Dobbins and special niece, Judy Hero Blazska.

Private services at Falardeau Funeral Home, followed by internment at Riverview Cemetery this spring.

In lieu of flowers, friends are invited to support the charity of their choice in Olga's memory or the Alzheimer's Foundation for their work fighting this devastating disease.
