August 11, 1929 – January 12, 2024
Natalino L. "Nate" Piccoli, 94, of Baldwinsville, passed away Friday at home surrounded by his family. He was born in Watertown, and had lived in Baldwinsville since 1973. Natalino retired from Black Clawson in Fulton after 40 years.
He was a US Navy veteran and communicant of St. Augustine's Church in Baldwinsville. An avid coin collector and sports fan, Natalino enjoyed baseball and traveled to several major league baseball games. He also enjoyed making wine, cooking and baking, especially his famous Italian Christmas Cookies. He loved traveling and spending time with his family especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his wife of 35 years, Virginia Balestra Piccoli.
He is survived by his sons, James P. of Baldwinsville and Michael J. of Camillus; sisters, Adeline Rockko of Pemberton Heights, NJ and Margherita Larmon of MN; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, January 16 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville. A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, January 17 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Augustine's Church, 7333 O'Brien Rd., Baldwinsville. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery.
