Nancy Ann Reed Golden, 79 passed away Tuesday, March 17th, at James Square Health and Rehabilitation Centre in Syracuse. Born in Altoona, Pennsylvania, on November 24th, 1935, she was the daughter of the late John Edwin and Regina Lilly Reed. She graduated from Southside High School in Elmira, New York, in 1953. She married Robert J. Golden in 1956, with whom she made homes in Middletown, Pennsylvania; and Corning, Geneva, and Baldwinsville, New York. She was predeceased by her husband Bob, who died in 2009, as well as her siblings John J. Reed, Daniel K. Reed, and J. Louise Sindall.

Nancy is survived by many who loved her, including four children: Catherine A. Golden of Syracuse; Maureen G. (Mark) Murphy of Baldwinsville; Robert J. (Ika) Golden, Jr. of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho; and Michael J. (Amy) Golden of Denver, Colorado; six grandchildren: Ciara M. Murphy (Robert) Cunningham, of Golden, Colorado; Christiane E. Murphy and Conor M. Murphy of Baldwinsville, New York; Charles A. Golden and Andrea G. Golden of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho; and Anthony M. Golden of Denver, Colorado; and many nieces and nephews.

Her family would like to thank the staff at James Square for their kindness and compassionate care in recent years.

A memorial mass will be celebrated on Monday, March 23rd, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Augustine's Church, 7333 O'Brien Road, Baldwinsville, followed by internment at St. Mary's Cemetery, Dewitt.
