Obituary

Mildred Scott Long, 98, passed away on January 2, 2026 at her home. Born in Syracuse New York, graduated from East Syracuse high school followed by 2 years attending Syracuse University College. Millie retired from Carrier Transcold after 31 years as a warranty administrator. Millie was a long-time resident of Baldwinsville, NY and an active member of the First United Methodist Church of Baldwinsville.

Millie had a lifetime love for golf and bowling. Millie and her beloved husband Robert greatly enjoyed traveling all over the world, taking 14 cruises.

Millie is preceded in death by her husband, Robert G. Long in 2003; her mother and father, Gertrude and Samuel Scott; brothers, Donald, Warren, and Robert; sister, Evelyn; stepson, Robert B. "Bob" Long (Dianne) of Farmington Hills, MI; her stepdaughter, Joyce (George) Eschenfelder of Syracuse, NY; her stepson, Doug and his wife Priscilla Long of Lexington, KY.

She is survived and missed by stepson, Wallace (Deborah Baughman), Troy, MI; step-grandchildren, Chip (Jennifer) Eschenfelder, of Denver, CO and Kristin Eschenfelder Rubel (Alan), Madison, WI; and great-step-grandson, Logan Eschenfelder of Denver, CO.

Millie also leaves several much-loved nieces and nephews.

There will be a funeral service at 1p.m on Monday, January 12, 2025, at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer Street, Baldwinsville, NY 13027.
