Michael "Mike" Sharpe, 58 of Baldwinsville, passed away March 25, at Newark-Wayne Community Hospital after a courageous battle with an extended illness.

Mike was born In Syracuse to Francis and Barbara Sharpe and has lived in the Baldwinsville area for most of his life.

He was a dedicated employee of Rite Aid for over 30 years. An avid sports fan, Mike could be found following his favorite teams, the Dolphins, Yankees, and of course his favorite, SU. His love of sports would provide many memories, particularly the tailgate parties. Mike loved spending time with family and friends, especially at the NYS Fair where they would attend every chance they got.

In addition to his parents, Mike is predeceased by his siblings; Deborah Peterson and Richard Sharpe; and grandniece, Gemma Phelps. Surviving is his Wife, Sally Schraven Sharpe; daughter, Kaleigh Sharpe; and sister, Rebecca Smith, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Calling hours will be held Tuesday, March 29 from 4-7 pm at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville. A funeral service will be held, 11:00 am Wednesday at the Funeral Home with burial to follow in Riverview Cemetery.

The family would like to say a special thank you to Amanda Kelley for the immeasurable care she provided to Mike during his illness.
