Melody A. Pitts, 68, passed away Thursday, August 2, 2018 at Crouse Hospital. She was born in Fulton to George and Eleanor Erhart and has lived in the area all of her life. Melody graduated from Fulton High School in 1968. She worked as the Secretary for the Lysander Fire Department and was very involved with the Fire Department over the years. Melody loved being with her children and grandchildren and especially enjoyed going to their activities.

Melody is survived by her husband James "Mike" Pitts; daughters, Samantha (Harry "Duke") Brien and Janet (Harley) Wakeman; son, Kevin (Tammy) VanBuren; sister, Toni LaFlamme; brothers, Bud and Terry Erhart; step-mother, Joyce Erhart; 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

Calling hours are 4-7 pm Tuesday, August 7 at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St, Baldwinsville. Services are 11 am Wednesday, August 8 at Falardeau Funeral Home.
