Maryln Angell Claus, 85, of Baldwinsville, passed away Wednesday, August 18, 2010 at her home. She was born in Saratoga to Leo & Marion Angell and graduated from Ballston Spa High School in 1942. After high school, Maryln worked for G.E. for a few years and met her husband, John P. Claus, while studying nursing at the Army Nurse Corp. They were married on June 7, 1947 in Ballston Spa. Maryln was a marvelous wife, and exceptional mother who loved her family immensely. She always saw the humor in things and will be greatly missed by those who knew her.

She was pre-deceased by her son, James Carl Claus in 1998 and great grandson, Connor Summerville in 2003.

Survivors: her husband of 63 years, John P.; daughters, Dona (Ken) McIntyre of Baldwinsville, Joan (Paul) Shaffer of Fair Haven, Lynn (Bill) Campbell of Hershey, PA, Jean (David) Accordino of Red Creek, Mary Claus of Baldwinsville, Karen (Bernie) Czysz of Fuquay Varina, NC and Judith (Randy) Lamica of Elbridge; sons David (Nancy) Claus and John R. Claus both of Baldwinsville; brothers, Maynard Angell of Ithaca and Edward Angell of Ballston Spa; 27 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Services: Calling hours are 12pm – 2pm Monday, August 23, 2010 at the Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville and 2:30pm at St. Mary's Church Baldwinsville. Burial, St. Mary's Cemetery, Baldwinsville.
