Mary E. Togias, 79, of Baldwinsville passed away at Community-General Hospital on December 10, 2006 after a recent illness. She was born January 1, 1927 in Syracuse, NY to James A. Murphy and Arlene W. Murphy. She worked 26 years for the Chamber of Commerce Visitors and Convention Bureau, volunteered several years for Meals on Wheels and was a member of the Raddison Greens Golf Board.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, James Togias; 2 daughters, Stephanie De Mont of Baldwinsville and Diana Farneti of Charlotte, NC, and predeceased by daughter Alexis Arlene Togias; 6 grandchildren, Jeanna, Rose Marie, Mary Beth, Jackie, Margaret and Aldo; 9 great grandchildren; 4 brothers, James Murphy, John Murphy, Thomas Murphy and Patrick Murphy; 1 sister, Kathleen Jolly; and many nieces and nephews.

Services: 9:30am Friday, December 15, 2006 at Falardeau Funeral Home, Baldwinsville and 10:00am at St. Mary's Church, Baldwinsville. Burial, Onondaga Valley Cemetery, Syracuse. Calling hours are 4-8pm Thursday, December 14, 2006 at the funeral home, 93 Downer St.
