Mary F. Schneider, 82, of Syracuse, passed away Friday at home surrounded by her family. Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, she moved to the Syracuse area in 1960. Mary was a member of St. Augustine's Church in Baldwinsville for more than 50 years and volunteered her time with the planning of funeral luncheons and counting of the offerings after Mass.

She enjoyed traveling, playing cards with her church friends, and trips to the casino. Mary was also very active with Canton Woods Senior Center.

She was predeceased by her husband, Harvey in 1993; son, David in 2007; and sister, Judy and brothers, Andrew and Bill.

Mary is survived by her children, Mark (Jeanine Armstrong) Schneider of Syracuse, H. Robert "Bob" (Joyce) Schneider of Naples, FL, Tina Schneider of Michigan, Tim (Roey Kuryla) of Syracuse, Ronald Schneider of Syracuse and Jamie Schneider of FL; seven grandchildren, Chase, Carson, Kristy, PJ, Nathan, Timothy J. Jr., and Joshua; and is also survived by Alyvia Schneider and several great-grandchildren; sisters, Katherine Argandar, CA and Susan Kammer of OH; brothers, Bob (Gloria) Kammer, John (Joyce) Kammer, and Mike Kammer all of OH; many nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held, Friday, March 8 from 4 -7 p.m. at the Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville.

A funeral Mass will be held, Saturday, March 9 at 10 a.m. at St. Augustine's Church, 7333 O'Brien Rd., Baldwinsville. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Baldwinsville.
