Mary Ruth Saunders, 89, of Liverpool, NY passed away Thursday, 4/21/2011, at St. Josephs Hospital from natural causes. She was born in Lambert, MS, the daughter of a Methodist minister. She had two daughters from a previous marriage who are now deceased, Reba Carol and Kelly Jean. She enlisted in the Army Air Corps in 1944 and met her second husband, William Thomas Saunders, who died in a car crash in 1964.

She lived in the Baldwinsville area for 30 years and worked for a time at Crouse Hinds as a key punch operator. After her brother lost his wife, she moved to Tupelo, MS to be with him. Prior to moving back to Liverpool in Sept. 2006, she lived in Colorado with Twila, her youngest daughter.

Mary is survived by her daughters, Twila S. Johnson of Golden, CO; Ramona Richer of Liverpool, NY; 5 grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

She requested no calling hours and funeral. Her ashes will be buried next to her husband in Beaver Falls.
