Mary A. Kanoza, 76, of Baldwinsville passed away Thursday , March 3, 2016, at Crouse Hospital. She was born in Syracuse and lived in Baldwinsville most of her life. Mary retired in 2000 from New York State Monroe House after many years of service. She was a communicant of St. Augustine's Church and a member of the choir. She had previously been a cook at St. Mary's rectory in Baldwinsville. Mary was a talented seamstress and enjoyed knitting and croucheting.

She was predeceased by her husband John R. Kanoza in 2003.

Surviving are her sons; John M. Kanoza, Mark V. (Anne Marie) Kanoza and Steven N. (Heather Ann) Kanoza; grandchildren, Emily, Hannah Rebecca, Mikayla, Brenden and Gretchen; her sister Margaret Allen and two nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00pm Tuesday, March 8, 2016, at St. Augustine's Church, 7333 O'Brien Road, Baldwinsville, NY. Burial in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Lakeland.
