Obituary

Mary Alice Dady, 77, formerly of Meridian, died Friday, March 21, 2003 at Shepherd's Choice, Gettysburg, PA. Born February 8, 1926 in Cazenovia, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Gladys Dady. Mary was a graduate of Cazenovia Central School, and earned a bachelor's degree from Cortland State Teachers College and a master's degree from Syracuse University. She was a physical education teacher at Cato-Meridian Central School for 41 years, and also served as athletic director during her latter years of teaching. She coached a national championship archery team, and, in 1983, was named National High School Coach of the Year for Special Sports. She was a member of many teaching and athletic organizations. She was a communicant of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Baldwinsville. She was predeceased by three brothers, John, William, and Thomas Dady.

Surviving are a brother, Richard Dady of Gettysburg, PA and 13 nieces and nephews.

Services 9:30am Wednesday, March 26, 2003 at Falardeau Funeral Home, Baldwinsville and 10:00am at St. Mary's Church. Burial in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Fayetteville. Calling hours are 2-4 & 7-9pm Tuesday, March 25, 2003 at the funeral home, 93 Downer St.
