Marsha Jean Rice, 60, died Friday, June 2, 2006 at University Hospital after a long battle with cancer. Born November 1, 1945 in Syracuse, Marsha was a native of Baldwinsville and resided in Weedsport. She graduated from C.W. Baker High School in 1963. Marsha was formerly employed with Windsong Farms Pet Boarding Kennels in Auburn. Being an avid animal lover she volunteered at the Finger Lakes SPCA of CNY. She was a member of Christ Church, Jordan. Marsha was a gifted artist, in oils and pastels, having done several pieces for her family to treasure. Marsha was predeceased by her mother, Jean in 1994.

Survivors: her father Leland of Baldwinsville; four brothers, Thomas, Jeremy (Karen), and John (LouAnn) all of Baldwinsville and Andrew (Kim) of Plainville; her best friend and caregiver, Patsy Webb of Weedsport; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services: 1:00pm Wednesday, June 7, 2006 at Falardeau Funeral Home, Baldwinsville. Burial at Riverview Cemetery, Baldwinsville. Calling hours are 4-8pm Tuesday, June 6, 2006 at the funeral home, 93 Downer St.
