Marlene Smith-Lange, beloved and cherished mother of Vincent and Jeffery Toscano, passed away peacefully on April 5, 2025, at the age of 87. A woman of unwavering strength and grace, Marlene leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and steadfast devotion to family and friends.

Born in Oswego, NY, on August 16, 1937, Marlene was a proud graduate of Oswego High School and Canton College. She dedicated 45 years of her professional life to the accounting department at the Nestle Company in Fulton, NY, where her work ethic and commitment earned her the deep respect of her colleagues.

Marlene found great joy in life's simple pleasures-traveling to new places, cooking for loved ones, and forming lasting friendships, both old and new. She was known for her sharp wit, infectious laughter, and a spirit that could light up any room. As a resident of The Nottingham in Jamesville, NY, she was widely beloved for her warmth and vibrant presence in the community.

She is survived by her two sons and daughters-in-law: Vinnie and Christie Toscano, Jeff and Ruztique Toscano; her cherished grandchildren: Anthony, Nick, Gianni, Payton, Izabella, and Sophia; and her adored great-granddaughter, Noella Toscano.

A private memorial service will be held for family and close friends. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Marlene's memory to the Francis House, 108 Michaels Ave., Syracuse, NY 13208.

Her love lives on in all who were fortunate enough to know her.
