Mark Wayne Falter, 76, of Baldwinsville, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 25, 2026.

Born on June 22, 1950, in Syracuse, New York, Mark was a lifelong resident of the Baldwinsville area. He was a graduate of C.W. Baker High School and proudly served his country in the United States Navy as a Seabee.

Mark dedicated many years to Associated Spring, where he worked in Shipping and Receiving until his retirement. Never one to sit still, he later found great enjoyment working at Weedsport Speedway, combining his love of motorsports with the camaraderie of the racing community.

A devoted NASCAR fan, Mark faithfully cheered for his favorite driver, Chase Elliott. He was also a lifelong New York Yankees fan and looked forward to his regular visits to the B-Ville Diner, where he enjoyed conversation with friends.

Mark found satisfaction in the simple things in life. He took great pride in maintaining his lawn and was always willing to help neighbors by mowing theirs as well. Whether spending time outdoors or at the racetrack, he appreciated the people and places that brought him joy.

He is survived by his son, Jeffrey (Danielle) Falter; his beloved grandsons, Dylan and Josh Falter; his sister, Kimberlee Hoover; and his nephew, Michael (Tiffany) Smith.

In addition to his parents, Edgar and Jeanette Falter, Mark was predeceased by his wife, Pamela Falter; brothers, Danny and Gene Falter; and sister-in-law, Cindy Smith

Calling hours will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer Street, Baldwinsville. Burial will be private in Riverview Cemetery, Baldwinsville.
