Marilyn Joan King Swete, 72, of Baldwinsville passed away Wednesday, February 21, 2007 with her family by her side after suffering a stroke. Marilyn loved her community of Baldwinsville, where she worked and volunteered after raising her family. Marilyn was a former Baldwinsville Woman of the Year. She was a long-time communicant of St. Mary's Church where she was involved in the Bereavement Committee, Parish Council, and Eucharistic Ministery. She worked and volunteered for the Volunteer Center, Meals on Wheels, Christmas Bureau, St. Mary's Apartments, Jayncees, Canton Woods Senior Center, Beaver Lake Nature Center, PEACE, Inc., Vera House North, and Syracuse Home.

Survivors: her son, Donald R. (Nicole) of Camillus; daughter, Lisa (Michael) Mixon of Baldwinsville; grandchildren, Gabriella, Ian, Austin, and Erica; her friend, Paul Cooney; her brothers, Bill (Sharon) King of Constantia, Cliff (Anita) King of Lexington, MA, and Christopher (Anita) King of Austin, TX; and many nephews.

Services: 10:00am Saturday, February 24, 2007 at Falardeau Funeral Home, Baldwinsville and 10:30am at St. Mary's Church. Burial in St. Mary's Cemetery, Baldwinsville. Calling hours are 2-4pm & 7-9pm Friday, February 23, 2007 at the funeral home, 93 Downer St.
