Marie Adamec Werner, 85, of Syracuse died Monday, April 25, 2005 at Mercy Health and Rehab Center in Auburn. Her family were Czechoslovakian refugees living in France. Marie came to the United States at the end of WW II as a war bride of Marshall L. Werner, who predeceased her in 1993.

Survivors: a daughter, Jacqueline S. McPherson of Pennellville; two grandsons; six great–grandchildren; several siblings, nieces and nephews in France.
