Marie A. Lefancheck, 85 of Baldwinsville, passed away on March 27, 2024 at Syracuse Home.

Marie was born in Fulton to the late Clifford and Marion (Blake) Doty. Marie graduated from Fulton High School at age 16  and then attended Central City Business Institute (CCBI). She worked for many years as a Medical Secretary and Office Manager for Dr. Charles Planer in Syracuse. In 1959, Marie married William "Bill" Lefancheck and the two were longtime residents in Liverpool and Mexico Point. They remained married for 63 years, until Bill's passing in 2023. Marie was active in the PTA and enjoyed ceramics. But above all else, her favorite time was that spent with family and friends, especially her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, Bill, Marie is predeceased by their son, David; brother Merlin; and daughter-in-law, Bridgett Lefancheck.

Surviving is her son, Michael of Baldwinsville; 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held from 5-7 PM, Monday, April 1, 2024 at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville. A Funeral Service will be held 10:30 AM Tuesday at the funeral home with burial to follow in Riverview Cemetery.

Marie's family extends a special thank you to the caregivers and staff at Syracuse Home for the care she received the past 2 1/2 years.
