Marie A. Lawrence, 90, of Baldwinsville died Wednesday, January 12, 2005 at her home. She was born in Lysander and lived in Baldwinsville most of her life. Marie retired in 1971 from Porter School in Syracuse after 28 years of service. She had previously taught in Baldwinsville and No. Syracuse. She received her Bachelors degree at Oswego and her Masters degree from Syracuse University. Marie was a member of the First Baptist Church in Baldwinsville where she played organ for 25 years. She was a member of the NYS Teachers Assoc., Beauchamp Historical Society, Travelers club and McHarrie's Legacy. She was predeceased by her sister, Ruth E. Lawrence in 2004.

Survivors: several cousins.

Services: 1:00 pm Saturday, January 15, 2005 at Falardeau Funeral Home, Inc. Baldwinsville. Spring burial in Jacksonville Cemetery. Calling hours are 4-7pm Friday, January 14, 2005 at the funeral home, 93 Downer Street.
