Marie M. DeRosa Caputo, 70, of Syracuse, passed away Tuesday, November 4, 2008 at Crouse Hospital, Syracuse. She was born in the Bronx where she lived all of her life until moving to Syracuse in 1998. After high school, Marie enjoyed being a beautician for several years before becoming a full-time mother. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Anthony J. Caputo in 1999 and daughter Janine Francella Caputo in 2001.

Survivors: a daughter, Cheryl & Victor Cosme, Sr. of Baldwinsville; a son, Robert & Laura Francella of the Bronx; 7 grandchildren, Victor Cosme, Jr., Anthony Cosme, Matthew Cosme, Vincent Cosme, Daniel Cosme, Courtney Francella and Danielle Francella; 2 brothers, Carlo DeRosa of Margate, FL and Charles DeRosa of Long Island, NY; and several nieces and nephews.

Services: 10:00am Saturday, November 8, 2008 at St. Mary's Church, Baldwinsville. Burial, St. Mary's Cemetery, Baldwinsville. Calling hours are 6-8pm Friday, November 7, 2008 at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville.
