Margaret E. Gerber, 94, of Baldwinsville, daughter of Edgar Cook and Amelia Jackson Cook, passed away Thursday, April 26, 2012 at Crouse Hospital. She was born in Watertown, NY and has lived in the Baldwinsville area for many years. She dedicated 20 years as a food service worker for the Baldwinsville School District, retiring in 1982. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother and will be dearly missed. Margaret was predeceased by her husband of 47 years, William E. Gerber in 1987 and also 6 sisters and 4 brothers.

Survivors: two daughters, Bonnie (Joel) VanKeuren of Baldwinsville and Sharon (Bill) Jacobs of Warners; her sister, Elsie Durant of Newark, NY; 4 grandchildren, Dan (Joanne) Jacobs of Seattle, WA, Kimberly (Mark) Harrison of Baldwinsville, Lori (Bill) Linton of High Point, NC and Stephen VanKeuren of Baldwinsville; 11 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours are 4-7pm Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville. Services are 10:00am Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at the funeral home. 1:00pm graveside services at Brookside Cemetery in Watertown.
