Margaret E. (McArdell) Falter, 87, of Plainville, passed away on Thursday at St. Joseph's Hospital after a long illness.  Margaret was born on August 5, 1937 in Syracuse and was the daughter of the late Earl and Elizabeth (Kinne) McArdell. She was a housewife and mother of nine children.  She enjoyed bowling, gambling, and entertaining family and friends.

Margaret was predeceased by her husband, William in 2016; her daughter, Barbara Nolan in 2007; her son-in-law, Todd Regan in 2016; and five brothers and two sisters.

Surviving are her children, Betty (John) Traufler, Beverly Regan, Billy Falter, John Falter, Rachel (Paul) Schroeder, Adam (Kira) Falter, and Patrick Falter;  22 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, September 12, from 4 - 7 p.m. at the Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville.

A funereal service will be held on Friday, September 13, at 10 a.m. at the funeral home.  Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery, Baldwinsville.
