Brzostek

Margaret Thomas Brzostek, 85, of Phoenix passed away on Saturday. She was a hard-working, God-loving and family-loving person who will be deeply missed by her family. Margaret grew up in Granby and graduated from Fulton High School (Class of '49). She was a hand liner at Syracuse China, and while she worked at Nestlé's she started the Second Time Around Antique Shoppe. For nearly 50 years, she was a businesswoman. As President of Brzostek's Auction Service, founded in 1978, she loved making house calls and helping people. Margaret was a communicant of St. Mary's Church and member of the Columbiettes. She volunteered at the Canal Museum and, after earning her auctioneer license, ran many benefit auctions. Margaret loved to sing, dance, play cards, and spend time with her family. She is predeceased by her loving husband Witold and her siblings.
Surviving are her daughter, Margaret O'Mara (Ken); sons, Bernard (Wendy) and Paul (Jill); and twelve grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, who called her "Sittee."
Calling hours are Thursday, March 2, 2017 from 3-7 pm, at Falardeau Funeral Home, Baldwinsville. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, March 3, 2017 at 10 am, at St. Mary's Church, Baldwinsville. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Fulton.
Contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to St. Mary's Church or St. Joseph The Worker Church.
